2010 round-up

1. What did you do in 2010 that you’d never done before?

Finally went to Disneyland

2. Did you keep your new years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year?

YES! I lost weight, after reaching a peak in about March, I lost about 7kg

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?

Yes, Ming-Ping and Andrew got themselves born

4. Did anyone close to you die?

No

5. What countries did you visit?

New Zealand and Hong Kong

6. What would you like to have in 2011 that you lacked in 2010?

Intact shoji

7. What date from 2010 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?

My birthday, I had a good one last year! And Christmas, as I was at home in NZ with family; also the drama of getting back to Nakastu on Dec 30-31

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?

Getting a contract with OIT!

9. What was your biggest failure?

Failing to do osouji. Again.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?

Broke my toe.

11. What was the best thing you bought?

iphone

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?

Kanji, for spontaneously starting to do laundry finally after ten years

ALL my family for leaving their clothes all over the place. Myself included.

Travel!

The trip to NZ

Anything by Lady Gaga, or her doppelganger chez moi, Eri-Gaga

same, always happy. Perhaps happier

thinner

richer for a bit, then poorer again as the tax bill hits!

I wouldn't say hate because I won't let her create such damaging negative emotions in me, but I am surprised and disappointed by one person's turning against me.

Split personality - three different wardrobes for home, work and play

The hint of a possibility that Japan might, perhaps in the near future possibly sign the Hague Convention

Eri-gaga. LOVE IT. Congratulations on the weight loss - the seven you lost I think I found. Oh well, that's what new years are for are they not? To start failing at yet another new year's resolution!!

Good luck on the house cleaner thing. If you find a good one send her over.
Must meet up soon. My translation may not be coming until mid next week now. How are you for Mondays? Or this Friday come to think of it??

Well I found 4 again, which makes 11 - there must be loads of those rogue kilos around attaching themselves to bottoms.

Monday is good! Actually only Monday is good. I was going to call Jo and see if she was free.

Shall I bring spare rogue kilos (eg NZ chocolate?)

Unless it's peppermint chocolate in which case rogue kilos are worth it.
